The Russians have started the push that might come to shove and the heat has been turned up on Barack Obama. Because of the sagging price of oil, the Russians have to do something or watch their country slip into anarchy. They need a crisis to move oil prices back up and Cuba is a very handy place to ferment one.

They are probing Obama for weakness with President Dmitry Medvedev’s just concluded four country visit to South America.

He stopped in Peru and Brazil but his real targets were Venezuela and Guantanamo Cuba.

In oil rich Venezuela Medvedev talked with America hater Hugo Chavez, basically as a pot stirrer, but Cuba was his main concern.

The Castro brothers are sitting on a piece of land that the Russians, now more than ever, find very interesting.

Yesterday the Czech Republic approved our offer to build them a missile defense system and this infuriated the Russians. They know we understand their long range plans to reestablish Eastern Europe as a Russian slave colony and they are willing to answer our challenge to their dreams. The problem for us is our challenge will be made by a poodle against a Russian bear. Medvedev went to Cuba to get a Guantanamo as a nuclear missile base to blackmail us with.

The signs are there. Castro wants to meet Obama on “neutral territory” and is suggesting Guantanamo as the site. Castro will be measuring the windows for Vladimir Putin’s new office.

The Russians will wait until their useful idiot friends in America’s Left pressure Obama into closing the prisoner of war facility on Castro’s island and then just walk in and set up shop.

This will give them a perfect counter to the Czech missile defense system. It will also end badly for America.

This situation demands a strong American administration. Unfortunately we don’t have one, thanks to the millions of fools who voted without knowing the facts. The Collins Report will watch this one and provide further information as it becomes available

Today is Thanksgiving Day a time for giving thanks to God for all the good things He has showered upon us and our nation.

Yes, we were badly beaten and sure it would be easy to cynically say, “There is nothing to be Thankful for” but that’s just not the case, because there’s still so much good all around us.

God most certainly loves America.

From the early days of our Revolution, God has blessed and protected Americans as we worked to form His most favored nation. Under God’s watchful eyes our liberties were secured for us by America’s Founding Fathers; patriots who fought and died for us.

For this we must be thankful.

We must be thankful to live in this, the greatest country in the world, because there could be no better nation to start the movement we need to restore those liberties lost on Election Day.

America is still the country the world’s people want to come to.

By God’s grace we have plenty of food and clean water for healthy lives; we have a political system that allows us to regroup speak out and try to win converts to our ideas after such a terrible beating; and we have a financial system that can and will survive this socialist assault.

Even at this darkest hour we must still be thankful to the Lord for all the graces and blessings He has sent us. America is clearly God’s favorite country; so we will succeed in making things right again.

Country, community and family are all of the advantages we need to get the job done. We have them all, thanks to God’s love for America.

Remembering these things should bring us good cheer as we eat a meal so much of the world can only dream about.

Because we have won favor with God America is the jewel of the world’s nations. We can and will survive this temporary swerve to the left. Americans are not socialists and shortly that fact will become apparent. Everything swings from side to side and nothing in politics is permanent. Let’s count our blessings and be ready to do God’s work by righting America when He calls us to duty because that day is coming sooner than we think.

In 1992 George H. W. Bush was an unpopular incumbent president forced to run against both Bill Clinton and H. Ross Perot.

For the offensive of not being Ronald Reagan and getting snuckered into raising taxes after publicly pledging not to do exactly that, Bush was targeted for extinction by many people who would ordinarily have been counted among his certain and strongest supporters.

Those responding to Roper’s exit polls and calling themselves conservatives, reported having voted 18% for Clinton as well as 18% for Perot.

Those identifying themselves as Republicans who could be characterized as “conservative lites” voted 10% for Clinton and 17% for Perot.

A good case could be made that were it not for these defections, Bush would’ve won, and we wouldn’t have seen a president sell technology to the Chinese Communists, turn the Oval Office into a bordello or have to explain to children what a Lewinsky is.

Those voting that way used “1992 think” which was dubious but somewhat excusable then. They told themselves foolishness like “ after four years of Clinton they’ll come crawling back to conservatism in 1996.” Time has proved those of us who counseled against that dangerous leap of faith dead right. “They” didn’t crawl back; they won’t in 2012.

“1992 think” is back. Conservatives voted 20% for Barack Obama in the duel beliefs that “they will crawl back in four years” and the very solemnly spoken, “Sometimes you have to kill the patient to save him.”

The original “1992 think” put a degenerate in the White House who cheapened everything he touched. This version promises to bring us much worse: a government telling us what to do, when to do it and how much to pay so it can buy the votes of the growing unproductive sector of our nation.

So far “1992 think” has brought us an open borders Homeland Security chief , a new Treasury Secretary who is up to his hips in the current crisis and a new Attorney General who is a Clinton hardened and experienced “problem fixer.”

The damage has just begun.

In April of 2007 the Democrats induced the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA). This bill is exactly the kind of over-reach Pro Lifers predicted would come about. FOCA would compel all hospitals accepting public funds to provide abortion and birth control services to their patients or lose funding. There would be no exceptions for religious based hospitals. It says “Abort or close.” The nation’s Catholic Bishops are studying the close option. Moreover, FOCA would be retroactive. FOCA clearly tells Pro Lifers to shut up and start cutting.

Trouble for Catholic politicians

FOCA is coming back in January. When Catholic Democrats pass FOCA, it will bring about a crisis in the American Roman Catholic Church and American politics as well.

Cannon Law forbids “formal cooperation” with an evil such as abortion. By their vote, Catholic politicians will place themselves outside of the Church and into a state under which they could no longer receive Holy Communion.

This is the train wreck Barack Obama’s Democrats have been trying to avoid by their admittedly centrist appointments thus far. This issue will make one side a winner and one side a loser. The bishops can not back down. The fact that Catholics broke ranks and voted for Obama makes it more, not less, likely that the bishops will excommunicate violators and close Catholic hospitals rather than be forced to provide abortions.

Obama has promised to sign FOCA. The drunk with power Democrats will introduce it. It will be a major turning point in sobering up Catholics and other Pro Lifers who drank Obama’s Kool aid. That rank and file Catholics will be pulled into this fight is also inevitable. The moment this bill hits the floor, any “honeymoon” of good feeling will end and the real fighting will begin. I say bring it on.

Those who think the Roman Catholic Bishops are bluffing are wrong and are in for a big surprise. When secularists bring suit against the Bishops to try to force them to do abortions they ought to keep a recent statement by Bishop Robert Hermann of St. Louis. He said “… any of us [ Catholic Bishops] would consider it a privilege to die tomorrow – to die tomorrow – to bring about an end to abortion.”

Sensing the apparent weakness in the new American/Israel alliance that will come about when Barack Obama is sworn in next January, the Palestinian Authority is beginning to turn up the heat in the Middleeast. Mahmoud Abbas the PA president is talking about re- injecting the so-called Arab Peace Initiative into their to destroy Israel under the guise of seeking peace in the region.
This “plan” has been around the block a few times and is nothing more than a naked grab at Israel’s throat. First unveiled in February 2002 when the PA thought the Bush Administration would be vulnerable in the immediate post 9-11 period, it has gone nowhere; for good reason.

Under its provisions Israel would be forced to withdraw from all the lands she had taken in the Six Day War, even the areas around Jerusalem in exchange for a promise of “normalized” relations with the Arab world. Yes everyone would hold hands and sing around a campfire and never fight again.

In a full court press effort to soften up Israel, the PA is now appealing directly to the “Israeli street” extoling the virtues of peace with their “Arab brothers.”

The treachery must be seen for what it is. It is a ready made example of the exemption from guilt for lying to enemies provided by Surah 3:28 of the Qu ‘ran. This verse absolves Islamists from any sin connected to tricking enemies with lies and deceit.

Those Muslims who adhere to the Verses of the Sword as the leaders of the PA most certainly do, can not be trusted because of this “loophole” in their religious laws. Israel can not be naive or she will be pushed into the sea. Surah 8:30 reminds followers “War is deception.” Israel and the PA are in a state of war.

” Can Muslim countries be trusted to play it fair and keep their end of the agreements that they sign with non-Muslim nations?

“It is imperative that our leaders not be naïve. They must understand that Muslims can use this loophole in their religion to absolve them from any accountability when they revert to deceptive tactics. They can unashamedly do so, as they adhere to Mohammed, the prophet of Islam, who was quoted as saying “War is a deception.” The Allah of Islam is described in the Quran as “the best of deceivers.” Surah 8:30.

“Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah.” Surah 3: 28

“According to this verse it is acceptable for Muslims to use deceptive tactics. In violation to the teachings of Islam, they can pretend to befriend infidels. In situations where real or imagined harm is perceived they are permitted to display adherence with the ideals of those considered as infidels.

“It is important to understand that Muslims take great liberty in expanding the perimeters of circumstances under which they are permitted to lie and to use deceptive tactics. When dealing with Muslim leaders it is essential to keep in mind that they can say or do anything that will get them out of trouble. All the while, they are apt to have just the opposite agenda in their hearts. With this in mind, in matters pertaining to war and international politics, there is a question that we need to ask ourselves. ”

Barack Obama voters, the cheers you hear are from Mexicans getting ready to sneak into our country and start cashing in on his “changes.” They are dancing and celebrating with you at Obama’s surrender of the southwestern states signified by his selection of Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano.
She has been a very good friend to illegal aliens, and now she’s the new Homeland Security chief.

Napolitano has vetoed a bill to bar in-state tuition at Arizona’s public universities. Thanks to your support for Obama, Napolitano can now force all states to give away your seat or your child’s seat at your state colleges. Your taxes and tuition bills will go up to pay for illegal aliens Napolitano will help steal your seat in your colleges. You Obama voting fools, especially the college students among you, now have the change you voted for.

You Obama voters, who use day care centers for your children while you go to work to pay for illegals,: thank you too. You’ll be getting the change you voted for. Your taxes and day care fees will go up so illegal aliens don’t have to face the hardships you do – how nice of you!

If you think Obama’s socialist administration will stop at college seats and day care registrations, think again. Your taxes will go up so you can pay for illegal aliens to take your place on line at your government run healthcare clinic. You will pay whatever Big Brother says you should pay. Illegal’s will be called indigents so you will pay for them to take that bed your elderly mother will need. Thanks to your blind lust for change rationed socialized medicine is coming. This is the change you wanted. This is the change you will get. Unfortunately so will the rest of us.

America’s Catholic Bishops are making their voices heard on abortion. Seeing 52% of Catholics vote for Barack Obama, has shocked them into action.

They are taking their fight directly to Catholic politicians who support and promote the destruction of innocent babies. The Bishops are starting at the top and sparing no one. They have publicly vowed to confront President elect Obama and his putatively Roman Catholic Vice President elect Joseph Biden on the issue of abortion. They are also warning all Catholics that supporting abortion is a sin.

This is a new and encouraging development. In the past, the bishops only talked a good game about abortion, now they’re backing up their words with meaningful actions. Close to sixty Catholic Bishops intend to withhold Holy Communion from Catholic politicians in their diocese who support and promote abortion. Some have extended this policy to individual Catholics as well.

This is a serious challenge to Catholic politicians. Many will be forced to answer the question of what religion they practice: Catholicism or Democratism.

This campaign’s lack of media references to Biden being a Catholic might be an indication it’s getting the message: Abortion supporting Catholic Democrats will no longer get a pass from their Church on their positions.

Those calling themselves adherent Catholics will be tested as well.

Unless the Democrats start running Catholics who defend life, eventually the Bishops will start instructing Catholics not to support them at the risk of committing a mortal sin.

The Bishops are also talking about closing Catholic hospitals rather than knuckle under to Blue State demands to do abortions or lose funding.

Standing on principles has worked for the Church in the past. It will work again. Big changes are coming to the American Catholic Church.

Welcome to the fight Catholic Bishops; we need you.

This situation is not going to “just go away” with the same old same old coming out at the other end. It is a serious crisis that will go unnoticed because there will be so many other serious crises in the coming months and years.

Let me say this very clearly: Unions today are essentially bagmen for Democrats. They extort dues from helpless workers take their cut and kickback the rest to the Democrat Party.

In many locations all, state and local government workers are compelled to join a union if they want to get hired. “Agency shop” laws see that no one escapes union extortion.. While unions were started to protect workers from evil management their members now generally need protection from evil labor bosses.

The Union Autoworkers Union is such a union. Over the past decades its membership rolls have fallen and its ability to actually make a contribution to the American economy has declined as well. Auto manufacturing companies now spend their money paying for healthcare benefits and non-productive laid off unionized workers who are getting up to 95% of their normal pay. In some cases this goes on for years.

Any money given to the “Auto Industry” would actually be going to the Democrats in Michigan and the state of Michigan. I don’t want one dime of my money going to either one.

The problem won’t be fixed unless the Auto makers stop being welfare agencies instead of the industrial powerhouses they should be.

Bankruptcy is now the only option for fixing this mess. The standard Democrat answer of shoveling money at this problem will make it worse because it will embolden the UAW to demand more money. They are already saying they will not re-negotiate existing contracts despite certain knowledge there is no money to continue the contacts currently in place.

We have to cut our losses and allow the natural industrial genius of America enterprise to save itself. Only a self-generated solution will work. Temporary fixes won’t work ; they will only invite more problems.

Bankruptcy is the answer.

The union has joined with all of the Democrats from Michigan and the auto Manufacturing company representatives. The company representatives flew in on private jets. That tells you what they are thinking.

The forces pushing Barack Obama to close Guantanamo Bay holding facility for captured terrorists, will settle for nothing less. Obama will have to shut it down. They don’t care that doing this puts America in grave danger they want what they want.
To insure “fairness” these vicious terrorists will be brought to American soil for federal trails as if they were bank robbers.
For PR purposes some will be tried in New York’s Eastern and Southern District Federal courtrooms where some will gain acquittal. They will be represented by Public Defenders paid for with our money. One of these lawyers will be Rachel Meeropol the granddaughter of the Rosenbergs.

Each trial will be a circus. The Southern District is in Brooklyn a few blocks for the main Middle Eastern enclave on our east coast: the Atlantic Ave section, looks across the East River into the hole that was once the World Trade Center.
The courtrooms will be full of terrorists watching, threatening and intimidating the jurors. Every acquittal will mean a new terrorist living on Atlantic Avenue and plotting against us. Because they come from “war torn countries destroyed by American aggression” we will be forced to grant sanctuary to these “innocent” men.

When Obama closes Gitmo he will pull a Jimmy Carter and hand it back to the “people of Cuba as a goodwill gesture to make up for the misuse of their territory.”

Castro will be very happy to then sell the base to the Russians who will have a nuclear missile launching pad 110 miles from Miami.
The media wants another Camelot and this will give it to them, but Obama is no John Kennedy and Putin is no Khrushchev. Obama is spineless and will lose this new “Cuban Missile Crisis” putting us all in grave danger.

In the early days of World War II we captured a group of Nazi spies who slipped into our country to destroy our railroads. They were captured, tried, convicted and executed in six months. Roosevelt slammed the door on any attempt to save them. We’ve fallen a long way from those days.

The election of Barack Hussein Obama, the first man of African decent elected President of the United States, will provide continuous changes for a very long time.

Gone now is the handy excuse many Blacks have used for refusing to act and speak like members of our American society. “It’s not worth my even trying because ‘the man’ will never let me get ahead” died on Nov 4, 2008. ‘The man’ actually elected a Black Commander in Chief, so demanding Ebonics as the price for school attendance is over.

The days of Black self imposed isolation from American society are over. The winds of truth can now enter the public arena and sweep it clean. The next change we need is the debunking of the fantasy liberal columnist Leonard Pitts recently cited when he referred to the myth of Black conservatism. When Pitts lamented that his fellow Blacks voted against Gay marriage he referenced the “ …. . deep strain of social conservatism that runs through the black electorate.”

Nothing could be more wrong. Saying Blacks are conservative is silly.

I don’t wish to single out Blacks or anyone else, but the truth is Pitts is lying and he knows it.

As a group Blacks have: the highest rate of out-of-wedlock births; imprisonment; abortions; high school dropouts; just voted 96% liberal Democrat; and the lowest rate of enlistment in our military. This is simply not conservative behavior.

This myth ends here and now.

It is not a crime for Blacks to be liberals but that’s how Blacks live; that’s how Blacks vote.

Pitts thinks just voting “No” on Gay marriage makes Blacks conservatives, but one conservative vote changes nothing. Liberals are as liberals live.

Pitts has no understanding of conservatism and little understanding of his own people. Liberalism blinds one.

Given these truths, any formal effort by Republicans to court the Black vote is a waste of time. If we select Michael Steel to lead us over the next few years it had better be because he is a fine capable man. Selecting him in hopes of drawing Blacks to our ranks would be a waste of a move. At this point we can’t afford mistakes. We have too much work to do.
