Will the Russians start a war to cause an energy crisis?

By Kevin “Coach” Collins

Modern Russia is built on Black Sea oil. Russia was never any good at producing consumer goods so she has evolved into a major oil exporter since the Soviet Union collapsed. Russia absolutely depends on oil money.
With help from America’s Democrats Russia has become a wealth parody of everything the old Russia pretended not to be.
New millionaires are partnering with Russia’s criminal class that has always been a part of life on Moscow’s streets. They have become rich on the oil they could sell at twice its actual price thanks to the Democrats’ insistence upon putting caribou ahead of American families.
Just a few months ago a barrel of oil on the open, but artificially high market, was around $147.00 a barrel. This was great news for the Russians and bad news for everyone in America except the elected Democrats who created this price.
The drop in the price of a barrel of oil is killing the economies of several of our enemies around the world. Deutsche Bank reports our enemies in Venezuela needs $95.00 a barrel while our enemies in Russia and Saudi Arabia need $70.00 barrels.
Hugo Chavez is a phony blowhard. The Saudis have no way to hurt us with oil so cheap. They won’t do anything but wait and hope someone else will act. That someone else is Russia and we can bet on the Kremlin fermenting a “crisis” to drive the price of oil back up as high as they can make it.
If this means starting a war through proxies as they have done before, they will do it.
The Russian bear will devour the naïve Barack Hussein Obama and we will be the worse off for sending a phony “Chicago tough guy” out to confront Vladimir Putin, a real tough guy.

The Russians will be the ones to “test” Obama. Bank on it and bank on Obama failing their test.

The Democrat’s one two punch, bringing America to her knees

By Kevin “Coach” Collins

Since the Democrats came to power in 2007 America has had nothing but grief and heartache with a 6000 point drop in the Dow and trillions of dollars of lost home value.

First they hit us with punch one: their phony energy crisis.

Now just as were getting up off our knees from that punch, they have slammed us with a second powerful punch to our mid section: their corrupt Fannie and Freddie mortgage mess crimes that threaten our whole economy.

America is a powerful country. We can take one Democrat punch but maybe not two.

The Democrat line, “We can’t drill our way out of this crisis” has tied us in knots. Today’s steady drop in gas prices are beside the point; the damage has been done.

The Democrat contrived energy crisis was punch one and it buckled our knees. Now comes punch two: their mortgage crisis.

Democrats thought they could wait until after Election Day and “fix” their mortgage mess. They’ve held America hostage to their grab for power. Now it may be too late. The “controlled burn” they thought they had, is out of control and they might not be able to fix our economy.

The Mortgage Modification section of the bailout bill gives the Treasury Secretary power to reduce not only homeowner interest rates but up to 15% of PRINCIPLE as well!

America’s bankers are now in a bind, but they’re not suicidal socialists. They won’t write many mortgages while the Treasury Department has the power to force them to cut PRINCIPLE and market determined interest rates.

America’s banks are the engines of our economy. Our bankers won’t follow socialistic Democrats over a cliff. They’ve stopped writing most mortgages because they now have no way to recover on the defaults they know are coming. Wouldn’t you?

This is the worst combination of circumstances imaginable. We are in a terrible financial crisis caused by the very people who are now in charge. As if that were not bad enough, these people could not fix this mess even if they wanted to because they are socialists who by definition know nothing about how economies work. They don’t understand how America came to be and how America works so how can they fix our problems? This would be like asking a “Lenin Peace Prize” winner in “economics” to help us. Pray for our country my friends.

Obama voters, here’s your first change: He’s closing Gitmo; bring terrorists to your town!

By Kevin “Coach” Collins

Barack Obama is now talking about how to close Gitmo prisoner of war detention facility. Our Marxist president elect has delighted his backers from the Communist Party of America to the “oh so clever conservatives” who voted for him, with his first change.

Barack Hussien Obama ( it’s ok to use his middle name now that he’s been elected) will tax everything that moves and close down any chance of achieving energy independence by forbidding drilling where we can actually find oil and gas. These changes are coming; closing Guantanamo is happening already.

Guantanamo Bay prisoner of war center has long been a kind of liberal’s mental Disneyland where every possible imaginary violation of “prisoner’s rights” such as the dreaded underwear on the head maneuver take place daily. The liberal insistence that withholding a Gitmo “guest’s” dinner fruit cup constitutes an impeachable offense to remove George Bush even before January 20, has been fun to watch, but the ramifications of finally closing this p-o-w prison are not at all amusing.

The alternative to Gitmo is bring the murderous terrorists it houses to American soil. American prisons will overflow with terrorists who hate us and want us dead. ACLU lawyers will use our money to defend them as they clog up our courts and make convicting homegrown thugs that much more difficult. We have seen what happens when these terrorists are “cleared.” They run right back to their ranks and attack us again. How many American and allied lives this lunacy has cost to is hard to say, what is not hard to determine is that it has happened and will happen again.

Thanks to you Obama voters, we will now be paying legal aid lawyers to free terrorists so they can kill more of us. Denying it would be unseemly, so please don’t. Elections mean changes. You voted for change, now we’re all getting it.

Honoring our veterans by supporting The Fisher House program

By Kevin “Coach” Collins

We conservatives have learned that we can’t rely on anyone but ourselves, and we’ll have to recapture America from the ground up. Our “to do” list is long, but some things are more important than others.

Supporting the Fisher House program is one of these things.

Fisher House is a totally privately funded effort to support our recovering wounded warriors by helping their loved ones when they are most in need. When a wounded warrior is recovering state-side, most often the hospital or rehabilitation facility is hundreds of miles from those who dearly wish to visit and give their love and comfort to their warrior.

Most families can’t afford the costs of lodging while they visit. This is where Fisher House comes in to help. Fisher Houses are a series of what they call “comfort homes” built on the grounds of military hospitals that serve the needs of families and friends in these terrible situations. They make it possible for them to be nearby at crucial points in the sometimes very long road to recovery.

Since the program was started in 1990 more than 10,000 families have spent nearly 2.5 million days living safely and comfortably near their wound warriors, healing their emotional wounds as their bodies heal physically.
There is never a charge to stay at a Fisher House, and that won’t change. Nevertheless, keeping this uniquely grassroots self help program going costs money. This is where we come in.

No one told Fisher House to take on this enormously vital task, they did it because they are Americans acting as Americans should. They saw a need and started filling it without waiting for government to step in and make another mess.

Let’s make everyday Veterans Day by supporting Fisher House.
Please join me in donating at

http://www.fisherhouse.org/

You can pick a Fisher House in your area or just support the general effort. This is a great and constructive way to start fighting back.

It took just three days for the socialist wolves to circle

By Kevin “Coach” Collins

The Obama administration is already hearing demands from far Left groups looking to tear down our America and re- make it into a gray faceless Soviet style “socialist people’s paradise.” Their demands will be heard and be met.

They will force openly gay volunteers to be accepted in our military.

They will wipe away remaining prohibitions against felons voting, something this column warned about in 2000.

Abortions up to partial birth will be paid for by “free” government medical programs. Infanticide will be “rare but legal” as it will be presented in Obama-speak.

Imaginary pay inequities will be “fixed” at the expense of actual productivity.

Gay “marriage” will be made the law of the land by executive order.

To legitimize it, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force will be quoted daily.

Demands on America’s socialist administration are coming from beyond our shores.

Already the Chinese are “urging” Americans to “alter [our] lifestyles” and not let a little thing like a recession stop America from living up to the Kyoto Treaty we have repudiated and have not responsibilities toward.

The Chinese are already lecturing Barack Obama to abandon our “unsustainable way of life” and spend our money on fixing the imaginary global warming hoax.

Emboldened by the election of an American socialist, the Chinese “proposed” that rich nations spend one percent of our wealth cleaning up their climatic messes while they spend their money on weapons to destroy us.

Already, the Chinese are using phrases like “obligation to respond to global climate change” and “unsustainable way of life” to give the oh- so- willing Barack Obama his orders.

Those who giddily voted for change will get it very soon. The problem is, so will those of us wise enough to think before handing our lives over to a socialist “community organizer.”

If we don’t stop the socialist now, we might not win this fight for a long time.

Grassroots conservatives here’s our next battle: save Norm Coleman

By Kevin “Coach” Collins
Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman is now just over 220 votes ahead of Democrat Al Franken in the race for the final available senate seat in America.
While it would be easy to say, “Well Coleman didn’t vote for this bill or that bill, let him go” this is defeatist, suicidal and sets back our fight to rebuild our conservative movement.

Coleman has a lifetime 73% American Conservative Union rating, substantially larger than the voters of Minnesota, but not the American people deserve.

Minnesota’s other senator, Amy Klobucher shows us what Franken would be like. Klobucher’s lifetime American Conservative Union rating is 4%.

Franken would strive for and likely deserve a zero ACU rating then brag about it. He’d make Klobucher the house conservative.

Norm Coleman’s road back to Washington is getting steeper by the hour. There is credible evidence that the man doing the recount of Minnesota’s votes is a tool of ACORN.

Mark Ritchie the Minnesota Secretary of State is a Democrat’s Democrat. He was endorsed in 2006 by these groups, each of whom hate conservatism and would make America a gray faceless Soviet socialist country when given the chance.

Minnesota ACORN Political Action Committee

American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME)

Education Minnesota

League of Young Voters/League of Pissed-Off Voters

Minnesota AFL-CIO

NARAL Pro-Choice Minnesota Election Fund

Planned Parenthood of Minnesota Political Action Fund

Progressive Action of Northeastern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin

Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Minnesota State Council

Southside Pride

Stonewall DFL

These groups will love Franken as well.

America and conservatism can’t lose Norm Coleman.

He needs money for this recount. If each of us doesn’t personally step up, its over and the socialists will steal this seat.

Any questions about what we have to do?

Send him whatever you can http://www.colemanforsenate.com/splash

This is where we save Talk Radio and the new media because with enough votes they will kill the 1st Amendment and laugh in our faces.

Grassroots conservatives here’s our first battle: save Saxby Chambliss

By Kevin “Coach” Collins

To revive our movement we need strong conservative leaders. We need Saxby Chambliss of Georgia who is unafraid to be conservative. Senator Chambliss is in a runoff we can’t afford to lose.

In 2006 we lost three conservative senators we should not have lost. In each case the trade off for America has been ugly and painful to watch.

In Pennsylvania we traded Rick Santorum who was a 90+ American Conservative Union rated Senator for a total phony named Bob Casey who delivered an 8% ACU rating.

In Virginia we lost George Allen ( 96%) and got another phony named Jim Webb. Webb (16%) became a sheep-like rubber stamp for Harry Reid’s socialist agenda..

In Missouri we lost a strong conservative in Jim Talent (90%). He was silenced by those who want to abort babies and ghoulishly use their little bodies for spare parts. The Democrats say this is moral because a Hollywood star from Canada said so.

We traded Jim Talent and got Claire McCaskill (8%), another rubber stamp for Harry Reid’s socialist agenda.

We want to fight for conservatism, now here’s our chance.

Saxby Chambliss can win with our help. He finished just .1% below the required 50% plus 1 to win outright. Now he is in a runoff that will be held December 2.

He has a small lead of 111,481 votes. The Libertarian candidate got 127, 566. The opportunity for picking up votes is clear, but Saxby Chambliss needs our support.

Please stop what you are doing, go to http://www.saxby.org/ and send this conservative fighter a contribution right now. Stand up and fight for America. If you can, go to Chambliss headquarters, volunteer and work hard for conservatism. We all want to fight back. Here’s our first chance. This is a battle we have to win.
Talk is just that: talk. Action wins elections and saves conservatism. Which do you choose?
Please watch for the launch of our new web site coming soon. It will be a meeting place for grasroots conservatives unwilling to stand by and watch America die.

Eight years of running away from Conservatism caught up to us

By Kevin “Coach” Collins
Let’s be honest : Tuesday’s election showed Republicans getting crushed, but conservatism doing little better. The numbers don’t lie.
It would be great to be able to join the chorus singing “It was just the Republicans who failed”, but the numbers say otherwise. Conservatism was pulled down by Republican hacks pretending to be conservative and they soured voters on the concept. That’s the truth. In many states John McCain won, conservative ballot initiatives got trounced.
The lesson is even the best product in the hands of a bad sales force will sit on the shelf and gather dust.
The cumulative effects of eight years of running away from conservatism by a leaderless Republican Party has, at least temporarily, convinced voters conservatism is a useless idea, which of course it is not.
To straighten things out we first have to stop rolling down hill. The best way to do this is to take an honest look at statewide ballot initiative results because they are clean up or down votes. For the most part conservatism lost.
Yes Gay Marriage was stopped in now blue Florida and deeper blue California, but both victories seem to be functions of local factors not support for conservatism.
Beyond these flickering embers there were few fires, burning with conservative zeal, around America.
Conservative proposals on stem cell research, parental consent and union abuse of secret ballots lost. Washington said yes to assisted suicide.
South Dakota’s number say it best: they defeated a watered down anti abortion bill while voting for McCain whom they obviously saw as no conservative.
If we can’t find the right people to explain and uphold conservatism we’ll never get it back. It’s not conservatism that is wrong, it’s the lack of conservative leadership that has brought us to where we are today.
We here at the collinsreport will be launching our own fight back effort with a new web site to bring conservatism back. Watch for our announcement and please come running to help.

Finding our new Ronald Reagan from the grassroots up

By Kevin “Coach” Collins

The election is now history. America has rejected conservatism, and we have to live with the results. Our hearts are broken but now our work is cut out for us. Let’s not pretend to see many bright spots in these results because there are none save for the opportunity to earnestly seek out a new conservative leader. We’re at a crossroads: we can retreat feeling sorry for ourselves or search for a new Ronald Reagan-like conservative giant.
We must stand up for America and fight though we don’t much feel like fighting. We’ll have to watch people who don’t understand how America was built or how our nation works, dance, cheer and even gloat.
We conservatives know none of that matters. We can see over the horizon. We don’t have time to feel sorry for ourselves, because we have to win back America’s hearts and minds.
Genuine conservatives know we had America ripped from our hands; we didn’t meekly hand it over. Now we have to take it back.
To do this, we have to find the new Ronald Reagan.
Rebuilding a new Reagan-like conservative movement from the grassroots up is job one. We have to meet and plan in new “meeting places” for exchanging the ideas.
The Collinsreport.net will do our part.
We will soon be launching a new site to serve as a clearinghouse for our grassroots search for the new Ronald Reagan. The new site won’t be afraid to be conservative.
The names and titles of those who pretend to be conservatives will be used. We’ll praise real conservatives and spotlight fakes. We will owe nothing to anyone and always call things as we see them.
Watch for the launching of this new site. It will be here soon. Together, we will find America’s new Ronald Reagan.

Today is tomorrow. There are no more tomorrows.

by Kevin “Coach” Collins

Today is tomorrow; there are no more tomorrows.
I first heard these words in Parris Island as a young man. They have stayed with me ever since and they serve well today to remind me that it is time to stand up for America.
When he was barely 22 years old, my 4th great grandfather joined the 8th Albany Militia to fight with the first American patriots against an evil and oppressive government that was draining the life out of his homeland.
Although he was facing certain death if captured and likely death on the battlefield Derrick Hollenbeck, my grandfather had an easier time than we do today. There was no lying media. The issues were clear. In 1777 when the Patriots fought the British the issues were not wrapped to propaganda as they are today. Men who loved freedom saw what had to be do and went off to war to get the job done.
Today after 233 years Americans face the choice of fighting for what our grandfathers fought and sacrificed and died for or standing by and watching as a new oppressive form of government finally retakes our country and puts us back in chains.
Saying, “There was nothing I could do.” will be of no solace when America is dragged through the streets by those who would re-enslave us. This time it will be socialism that they beat us down with, but make no mistake our lives will just as miserable as those who saw no other way but to fight during our Revolution.
If you don’t vote you will be a part of the problem. If you don’t vote and America loses how will you explain yourself to yourself, your children and grandchildren?
Vote for America. Today is tomorrow, there are no more tomorrows.
