Since ACORN registers phony voters, one name they should use is Ebenezer Scrooge. It’s no stretch to imagine Scrooge as a registered liberal Democrat. His oft paraphrased question “ … are there no … workhouses …?” sums up the level of charitable giving among today’s liberal Democrats.
The data screams it. We’re right about them : Liberals are different from us. They’re cheap secularists who want to give our money away to make themselves feel good.
Recently Arthur Brooks found conservatives give approximately 30% more to charity than liberals contribute. A Google study showed an even larger gap. When you contribute this Christmas, remember even though conservatives already give far more than liberals “cheerfully” do, as the adults of America we have to do even more because of these cheapskates.
Studies show Bluest State, where liberal Democrats run everything are the cheapest in America. Democrats talk compassion, but don’t do compassion with their own money. Because the state is their religion, forcing others to pay “their fair share” is charity. Just released data indicates America’s five cheapest states : New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, and Wisconsin all voted Democrat last month.
The same survey shows the most generous Americans live in Mississippi, Arizona, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Alabama. All of whom voted Republican last month.
Predictably weekly religious service attendance in these states shows the cheapest people don’t go to services and the most generous do. Liberal Democrat Blue State attendance is substantially below the national average while conservative Republican Red State attendance is well above the norm.
Predictably Armed Forces families regularly contribute a greater portion of their net income than those who have never served.
Conservative Americans, be of good cheer, we are better than the rest of the world.

The more secular the nation,……. the cheaper it is. We Americans (with little help from the Blue States) give 1.67% of our GNP to charity. In Britain they contribute .073 and the French, give just .14%. No wonder the Left wants us to be “more like Europe.”
This tells us can’t expect help from Blue State liberal Democrats as we work to restore America to the country we grew up in and want for future generations.
They’re not us, no sir. The truth is we’re better people by any objective standard.
