St. Louis is second only to Atlanta among the most dangerous cities in America in their size class. Lots of people get killed there.

Only Detroit and Baltimore have more crimes to frighten their citizens. With a third of Detroit’s population, St Louis has as many homicides, burglaries and robberies and twice as many rapes.

The grim truth of St. Louis can’t be ignored even by the liberal Democrats that have run the town “so well” over the last sixty years.

Of course there are strict gun control laws in St. Louis after all, they’re necessary to protect people – right?

When Missouri first tried to give honest citizens the right to carry firearms, St Louis did its best and defeated the measure. Presumably that caused plenty of triumphant liberal backslapping.

Liberal Democrat Alderman Charles Quincy Troupe thinks the town’s tough gun control laws aren’t working. He‘s telling the people in his district they should be arming themselves with guns. Other liberals who don’t want their herd of sheeple to have too much freedom are attacking him.

Predictably the new liberal Police Chief, Dan Isom is against the plan. He admitted his cops sometimes don’t even respond to some assaults, robberies and home invasions ( that’s an armed robber kicking in your door while you are sitting in your living room), but he’s is still opposed to arming honest citizens.

Without a bit of self-consciousness he said, “’Sometimes just letting the criminal commit his crime and go away is better than using a firearm that might miss once or twice.”

Troupe replied, “The community has to be ready to defend itself, because it’s clear the economy is going to get worse, and criminals are getting more bold.”

St. Louis last had a Republican mayor in 1949. Is there a connection?

It looks like things in some liberal run gulags have become so bad that even they have to admit it might be time to try some conservative answers.

In your heart you know Troupe will be ignored or made fun of until he shuts up.

People are literally running away from St. Louis. It is the fastest shrinking metropolitan area in America. With public safety in the hands of an idiotic liberal like Chief Isom is there any wonder why?

Kennesaw Georgia:180 degrees away

In 1982 when its population was just about 5,000 Kennesaw Georgia passed a law requiring every household to have a gun. Immediately thereafter, Kennesaw experienced a 74% decline in crime. The latest numbers show its 25, 000 people enjoy some of the lowest crime rates in America, with one murder, no rapes and seven robberies. Maybe liberals know they have dumbed down their victims so much they really can’t handle guns.
