Useful idiot professors: campus cheerleaders for America’s enemies

By Kevin “Coach” Collins

The western media wants to portray the Islamist terrorists as legitimate victims who need only a voice, the media’s voice, to explain away their crimes and win widespread western support. Nevertheless, the terrorists who want to kill or enslave us already have a legion of useful idiots professors on our college campuses. Here are some of these contemptible beings speaking about their terrorist heroes.

John Esposito, Georgetown University on convicted terror conspirator Sami Al-Arian ” a proud….. man of conscience with a strong commitment to peace and social justice.”

Natana DeLong-Bas, Boston College “I do not find any evidence that makes me agree that Osama bin Laden was behind the attack on the twin trade towers.”

Ian Lustick, University of Pennsylvania “There is no winning this war, because the war on terror is the enemy.”

Kevin Barrett University of Wisconsin, Madison, “I do know — I don’t believe — I know that 9/11 was an inside job.”

Hamid Dabashi Columbia University “The Iranian human-rights record is atrocious, as is the human-rights record of any country including the U.S.”

Mark LeVine, University of California at Irvine “As far as I can tell, American empire is safe and secure, despite my best efforts to topple it although Musab al-Zarqawi seems to be doing a good job in Iraq.”

Joel Beinin, Stanford “Israel did not face an existential danger in 1967.”

Mansour Farhang, Bennington College “If you put a gun to my head and said choose between Ahmadinejad and Bush, I might say, ‘Shoot.’”

Bruce Lawrence Duke University discussing Osama bin Laden, “If you read him in his own words, he sounds like somebody who would be a very high-minded and welcome voice in global politics.”

M. Shahid Alam Northeastern University, “On September 11, 2001, nineteen Arab hijackers too demonstrated their willingness to die and to kill – for their dream. They died so that their people might live, free and in dignity.”

People like this are committing a special level of treachery because they have young impressionable audiences who trust them. These professors have taken this trust and used it to blind our younger generation to the ultimate danger of complacency at best or cooperation at worst, in the face of our mortal enemy. It is indeed ironic that should our Islamist enemies ever overwhelm us and take control of America, these professors would be among the first to be put to the sword.
