The Oath Keepers’ motto is “Not on our watch!”

Last March Stewart Rhodes realized it’s up to every American to step up and shout “No” to Barack Obama’s plans to socialize and destroy our nation. As a lawyer and Army paratrooper who has taken oaths to “defend and support” our Constitution Rhodes knew what he had to do.

He founded Oath Keepers and asked other men and women who have taken an oath to support and defend our Constitution to step forward with him.

Oath Keepers has grown to an organization of thousands of American patriots who are pledged to do whatever is necessary to actually “support and defend” the Constitution. They realize the situation is quickly moving beyond the theoretic. They know America is quickly running out of “tomorrows.”

Members pledge to refuse obedience to unlawful orders to violate Constitutional rights of American citizens. They understand the consequences, but nevertheless have pledged to thwart any government move toward turning America into a socialist gulag. Oath Keepers are determined to never let the radical Left take over our lives.

Rhodes and his Oath Keepers are trained to recognize dangerous enemies who want nothing but harm to come to our nation. They well understand these enemies need not be foreign but can be domestic as well. They know American liberties are more important than they are as individuals.

Not surprisingly Oath Keepers are hated and feared by Democrats and their lapdog media. Both see Oath Keepers as threats to their plans for submerging America into the cesspool of socialism.

The Southern Poverty Law Center calls Oath Keepers “a particularly worrisome example of the Patriot revival.”

To the Left “patriot” is an insult. To us it’s a badge of honor. That’s why we will win in the end. Look for yourself: www.oathkeepers.org.

The Left is worried and this is a good thing

They are using the word “Militia” to describe the Oath Keepers, and like the rest of us who have gone to TEA Parties and marched 2.2 million strong on Washington “militias” scare the Left. We’re not rolling over and accepting their tyranny. We don’t want to be their slaves, and we won’t be. Freedom is everything to us and we don’t intend to “get with the program” no matter what intimidation tactic they try.

If you have taken an oath to support and defend our Constitution you know it didn’t come with an expiration date. When you were discharged from the service or separated from whatever job required you to take your oath; you were not released from your responsibilities. Now is the time to stand up and let Oath Keepers know you are with them.

We served once before, now America needs us to serve again.

Senate Democrats think we’re stupid. They actually believe hiding their criminal deals in 1502 pages keeps us from knowing what they’ re up to.

Harry Reid, who is ten points down to two unknown Republicans, has attempted to slip a provision into the Baucus bill exempting Nevada from the skyrocketing of Medicaid costs it will bring. Three other Democrat run basket case states Oregon, Rhode Island and Michigan slithered in as well.

Sneaky scheme

All of the Obamacare bills currently being considered “appear” to save money because they shift costs to the states. That way when he gets his bill Obama can claim it “saves” federal money.

Because our country has been handed over to Chicago gangsters by the dopes who voted for Obama and his Democrats, which states pay what will be decided by low lifes like Harry Reid.

Very clearly Democrat states, that can’t survive without extorted funds from other states, will be supported with money ripped away from states run under conservative principles. Oklahoma and Texas come to mind. As has become the expected pattern, this legislation will be used to punish achievers.

States with lower tax rates or unfriendly climates for illegal aliens or invoke States Rights under the Tenth Amendment will be forced to pay “tribute” to king Obama. He’ll need it to feed his lackeys in Michigan and Oregon.

Double edged sword

Fortunately this dirty deal will help kill the Baucus bill and quite likely all other similarly written bills. The Democrats are basically greedy and will not be able to resist the opportunity to over play their hand.

Other greedy Democrats will demand their state be exempted as well. It’s hard to see Arkansas and Louisiana’s Democrat Senators not sticking their hands into this pie. There is no honor amongst thieves after all.

Now we have text to read

This fight is a long way from over. The fact that diligent research by the Heritage Foundation brought this disgusting trick to light is proof that we can not allow ourselves to sleep on this issue. The Senate bill is put together. It’s a good bet its 1502 pages are one assault after another on our liberties

They NEVER sleep so we can’t either. Stay informed, write your representatives, talk to friends and family about the dangers in these bills and all of the socialist schemes Obama’s Chicago thugs are trying to beat us down with. This is our country and we can not let them destroy it.

Her website’s “Issues” page is suspiciously slow and eventually doesn’t open. She is also endorsed by the New York State Teacher’s Union and Newt Gingrich, who is sucking up to the State Republican establishment to try to line up their support in 2012.

Just imagine the shock waves a Hoffman victory would cause, especially coming on our big win in Virginia.

Stop by Doug’s website read his bio and make a contribution. You’ll be eager to help this fine man hold our Congressional seat. What this country does not need right now is another Democrat in Congress. If the Registered Democrat or Scozzafava wins, ACORN wins. We can’t let that happen without a fight.

“To be an American citizen is to be arrogant, selfish, show off, and pure evil,” a Global Citizen told me once. I believe “To be an American citizen is to be proud, independent, generous and kind,” This Global Citizen is simply jealous; otherwise, why wouldn’t he want to be an American? I wanted and became one not too long ago. Hey, wait a minute this Global Citizen IS an American!

Goodness, why are there so many like this man in America these days even though they elected their guy to be President: Barack Obama? Did I simply misunderstand about what it means to be an American? Did I choose the wrong country to fit my character and belief? Hell no!

Mr. Global Citizen puts himself above America; he is the World, representing everyone. I put myself with America; I’m the American representing myself. He views the world as his responsibility; I view America as my responsibility.

He wants to please the world, I want to please America. So if Mr. Global Citizen, as an American fails to achieve happiness for the sake of everyone in the world, he would blame America. On the other hand, because I, as an American, simply want to achieve happiness for myself should I fail, I don’t blame the world.

This is why real Americans like me reject Mr. Global Citizen. We’re the true portrayal of Americans, he is the betrayal. We value and salute other people in the world who are responsible. We don’t view everyone as the same. Because every one is special we encourage them to compete and win. In a perfect world, these people shouldn’t blame us if things go wrong, but it is what it is. The results can’t be the same, because men by nature aren’t equally able.

Equality?

The concept of equality is to appease losers; in its self it is very demeaning and dishonest. Seriously, Mr. Global Citizen, do you really care about the world, or just about you in the world? No wonder, you are arrogant, selfish, show off and pure evil.

All nations eventually fail. Some go peacefully; others in paroxysms of violence and bloodshed. All that I have examined were guilty, at least in part, of nurturing the process. Even given that, one is hard pressed to imagine how a democratic or an autocratic government can be expected to survive.

To wit: Democracies do not start wars (with the exception of the US under Lincoln). Further, citizens are not by nature war like and see no need to shed blood and treasure to acquire an empire. Empires acquired by any means eventually will cause their own demise. FDR had to lie, connive, cheat and, specifically violate the law (Neutrality Act) to foment the Japanese attack and Germany’s declaration to force a reluctant nation into WWII

Autocracies have the ability to easily start and sometimes win wars. They are, however, encumbered by an institutional bias against change. An inability to accommodate change in things economic or military leads to an inability to compete and ultimate failure. The allure of “cheap” money in a faltering nation is rarely resisted either.

The costs of losing a major war are always blared around the world and are obvious, overshadowing the costs of winning. Winning nations have, however, sacrificed their most valued assets in combat deaths and injuries. Further, they debase their currencies in order to sustain the enormous cost and keep the citizens at bay. Currency debasement may be in the form of increasingly valueless paper money or devalued bonds.

Autocrats simply visit fiscal and/or monetary policy upon a powerless nation. Politicians in democracies shrink from forcing voters to sacrifices consistent with maintenance of the war effort. They inflate the currency and pretend that they are not. Until very recently, the average US voter sheepishly accepted this formula.

Ergo, debased currency is a function of war for both sides. If we accept the belief that the stronger economy will prevail in modern war, how can a nation afloat with inflated currency remain viable? Insofar as the only palliative is more inflation, it cannot.

Further, “hot” wars are not required to degrade economies. A good case can and has been made that our victory in the Cold War was Pyrrhic. The amount of blood and treasure expended in this 40 plus year stand off doomed the USSR and greatly weakened the West, particularly the US. Again, we won but could not afford a similar victory. Likewise, the Brits never recovered from their WWII victory.

The net of this is that history is replete with wars, hot and cold, and currency debasements. If a nation is attacked or threatened it must respond. Response always results in debased currency, larger government, and skewed production. Politicians are elected that paper over unpleasantness. At some point, that weakness is exploited and a hollowed out economic machine and its majority of feckless people are no longer up to the task.

If they were honest Liberal Democrats and their controlled media would rethink their stock positions on Mexican illegal aliens’ coming to the United States to “work hard, play by the rules and someday become citizens.” A new survey of Mexicans in Mexico proves this is a fairytale.

Earlier this month Zogby surveyed 1004 Mexican adults in Mexico for their thoughts on illegal immigration of Mexicans into the United States.

We haven’t heard much about his findings because they don’t “fit” the liberal media’s template on illegal aliens but here’s what Zogby found.

Fifty six percent think giving amnesty to illegal aliens would encourage more illegals to sneak over our borders. Only 17% believe amnesty would not cause a rush over our borders.

Of those with immediate family in America 65% said an amnesty would make people they know MORE likely to sneak into America.

Fewer going to America; more coming home to Mexico

Our recession has done little to discourage Mexicans from DESIRING to come here legally or illegally. More than 1/3 of Mexicans would come here if they could.

Almost 70% said the primary loyalty of Mexican-Americans whether legal or illegal should be to Mexico. Only 20% felt the opposite should be the case.

An astounding 69% of Mexicans living in Mexico believe the Mexican government should represent the interests of Mexican-Americans in America.

About 40% said they thought fewer people they know had entered America illegally lately.

Fences and tough enforcement work

Four of ten thought people they knew who had gone to America illegally had come back to Mexico and fewer were going to begin with because of two main reasons. They said both the sour economy in America and stronger enforcement of border security had slowed the flow of Mexicans illegally entering the United States.

Amnesty making illegal aliens legal citizens will destroy America

These findings make it pretty clear that amnesty for illegal aliens would effectively “erase” our southern borders and millions of Mexicans would pour into California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. We would never ever be able to reclaim our sovereignty and never ever regain control of our borders. Amnesty would literally spell the end of America as we know it and turn it into an over crowding lifeboat sinking in a sea of red ink overnight.

The survey carries a +/- 3.1 percent margin of error at a 95 percent confidence level.

Fights we have to win

There are many many fights we have to win to keep our freedoms but stopping amnesty and defeating Big Labor’s Card Check scheme to forcibly unionize the entire national workforce are second to none.

Keep informed on these issues and fight like our nation’s life depends on it because it does. If you plan on sitting and watching the Marxists as they go about their evil doings you had better plan on watching them make you and your family slaves.

An honest headline would read, “Lynch in a walkover: TKO’s Wexler.”

In boxing terms conservative Republican Ed Lynch has scored a TKO walkover victory against soon to be former Congressman Robert Wexler (D) Fla 19th CD.

Lynch’s courage and tenacity convinced the FBI to investigate Wexler for multiple violations of federal laws and finally forced Wexler to slither away rather than have investigators prove he doesn’t live in Florida let alone his district.

Lynch’s campaign commented that, “For all practical purposes, Wexler quit representing his constituents and stopped carrying out the real responsibilities of a Congressman long before his resignation… He was not a resident of the state of Florida, and his cameo appearances in the District were few and far between.

“Wexler may claim that by leaving Congress he is doing so for peace and the greater good, but the organization that Wexler is leaving for, the Center for Middle East Peace and Economic Cooperation, is headed by S. Daniel Abraham. Mr. Abraham is a longtime Democrat political benefactor…”

But Ed Lynch is not about to let Wexler crawl under a rock and beat these charges.

Lynch continued, “It’s time for fruits of the FBI’s investigation into Robert Wexler’s dealings to be made public to see if charges pertaining to money laundering, securities fraud, or election law fraud can be brought against him.

“…he has made a mockery of federal election laws, filed false FEC filings, and has also participated in very shady financial dealings, including a fraudulent mortgage transaction in West Palm Beach. The work my staff and I have done to bring his dealings to light is thoroughly documented at www.wexlersweb.com.”

I have personally met, and spoken to Ed Lynch at the Fort Lauderdale July 4th TEA party. He was the first person I came across who read all of HR 3200 and was raising the red flag of warning about the dangers to our liberties he saw.

The Baucus bill will not only raise taxes, but it will kill jobs. Immediately upon its passage the necessary taxes will begin to hit our pay stubs. Large chunks of our salary will be confiscated to pay for illegal aliens and others who will suddenly have a legal claim to our wallets.

The provisions of this bill won’t be felt in our everyday lives until 2013 but the money to fund them will be collected now. This is a double edged sword for us and our enemies. While we will suffer from the higher taxes, those higher taxes will fire the country up against the Democrats next year. While the Democrats are getting flush with our money, using it to buy votes they will also be building the gallows they will swing from in 2010.

States will suffer greatly

The probable certain damage caused by the expansion mandated by the Baucus bill will be horrific. The Democrat Governor of Tennessee had this to say on the threat. “I can’t think of a worse time for this bill to be coming. I’d love to see it happen. But nobody’s going to put their state into bankruptcy or their education system in the tank for it.”

Note: Tennessee has all but bankrupted itself because of its own socialist adventure in “everything is free or next to nothing” state run health care.

States that go into bankruptcy and suffer the destruction of their school system will loose hundreds of thousands if not millions of jobs.

Another hidden budget breaking feature of the Baucus bill is the Stabenow Amendment which will force states to fund child welfare programs with money earmarked for their Medicaid system. This will kill healthcare jobs in every state and skyrocket layoffs and hard core unemployment for years to come.

In a solid unbreakable nexus these new mandates will certainly bring on higher taxes to pay for them. These taxes will kill jobs and do nothing to generate jobs or the kind of mind set needed for new job creation.

The Baucus bill has passed through its first committee. That’s the bad news. Nevertheless it did so with the help of only one Republican. That’s the good news. We have to support those who have supported and defended us in the Baucus Committee. Email, call and/or contact the other GOP members and let them know we are with them in this fight.

As Governor of Arizona Janet Napolitano was always a good friend to illegal aliens trying to sneak into our country. She gave them free college educations and free daycare for their children as any welcoming host would.

As Homeland Security Secretary Napolitano avoids even saying the words “terror” or vulnerability” proving she has no business heading HLS.

Now Secretary Napolitano has passed a new threshold of linguistic gymnastics.

According to her latest announcement the burglars who sneak into our country with their hands out who were once correctly called “illegal aliens” then “illegal immigrants” and more recently “undocumented immigrants” must now be called “newly-arrived asylum seekers.”

This perfect example of Orwellian “new speak” is a trick to make us forget Democrats plan to give illegal aliens “free” healthcare paid for by us.

Clearly the idea of putting “illegal aliens” in prison sounds about right, but the thought of imprisoning “newly-arrived asylum seekers” can be sold as somehow not fair or un-American and nobody wants to be called un-American.

What do we do with “newly-arrived asylum seekers”?

America has always been the place where people have run to in order to escape POLITICAL and RACIAL/ETHNIC genocide. Americans take in and welcome Cubans fleeing Castro’s socialist gulag, we took in escapees from the Soviet Union.

Napolitano’s idea is to make us see illegal aliens as escapees from some kind of non existent oppression in Mexico and South America.

In this scheme the natural next step is to “house” these “newly-arrived asylum seekers” in California’s hotels that have closed because of Obama’s recession.

Napolitano wants these rooms prepared for her honored guests at our expense. If we let this happen it validates their new title.

We can’t ever refer to illegal aliens as anything but illegal aliens. Our sovereignty is at stake.

“Welcome to the Hotel California. You can check-out any time you like; But [PLEASE DON’T EVER] leave!”

Because California is dying the type of slow painful death that always follows complete surrender to socialism, hundreds of its hotels are defaulting and closing their doors.

Janet Napolitano wants to turn these hotels into bed and breakfast resorts for illegal aliens housing them there until the Democrats figure out a way to make them citizens and register them as Democrats. Guess who will pay for them?

Instead for sending these burglars back or putting them in prison as they should be, where iron bars will separate them from us, they will be sitting on their verandas watching the sunset on warm California afternoons.

In support of this scheme Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont a state that must have at least 25 illegal aliens harvesting maple syrup said: “The perception of the United States around the world and our role as a champion of human rights is greatly diminished when we fail to treat those in our custody consistent with our values as a nation.” Sickening isn’t it?

Now that the laughter has died down over the Nobel Prize awarded to our empty suited president Barack Obama here’s a look at others who have won or been passed over.

The first fraud that comes to mind is Woodrow Wilson. In 1919 the world got its first look at the twisted perversion of the Nobel Committee when Wilson who had fooled America with his 1916 motto “He kept us out of war” won a Nobel Peace Prize. In 1917 just one month after his second term began he got Congress to declare war on Germany for no discernable reason.

Al Gore won a Nobel Peace Prize for what was essentially a slide show on his “global warming” foolishness. Among those denied so Gore could be honored for this hoax was Irena Sendler a German Christian who saved the lives of 2500 Jewish children by smuggling them out of harm’s way at the hands of the Nazis.

Le Duc Tho an original founder of the Indochinese Communist Party was awarded a Nobel Prize but then showed more integrity than Gore by refusing to accept it.

Vicious terrorist child molester Yasser Arafat who spent his life trying to murder every Jew he could was a Prize “winner.”

Willy Brandt a former chancellor of West Germany who was a socialist with close connections to a Communist spy ring won despite never moving the world an inch closer to peace.

Who has been passed over?

Mohandas Gandhi the original model of “non violent” social change who kept peace in a very volatile Indian Sub Continent did not “fit.”

Pope John Paul II and Ronald Reagan who ended the Cold War without bloodshed and in doing so freed hundreds of millions of captives of the Soviet Union were both passed over.

Konrad Adenauer was put in a concentration camp for opposing the Nazis and when he became the head of West Germany offered to pay reparations to Israel to try to repair the damage his county had done. Adenauer was snubbed as well.

Shows Europeans don’t respect America

The Nobel Committee has acted like the five year old that asks old Aunt Louise, “Why does everybody say you’re a pain in the neck?” and lets out the family’s secret.

When it awarded Barack Obama a Nobel Peace Prize the gang in Norway said what the rest of Europe really feels about America. They reminded us that Europeans don’t think Americans are smart enough to see through this farce.

He’ll be sorry

This “honor” will backfire on Obama because it begs the question “For what?” Obama and his people can’t answer this because he has done nothing. This just underlines the truth that we all know: he’s done nothing and the Nobel Committee knows it. He has even failed in his promise to get the world to respect America once again. His “winning” this Prize proves that.
