Freedom isn’t free. It never has been, but we Americans haven’t had to pay the price for freedom since we won our Revolutionary War over England.

The bill for freedom has now come due again. We the patriots of today have to pay, stand tall and fight to regain what the Obama’s Marxist have taken from us and defend our liberties from further attacks.

The likely results of November’s elections continue to look better and better at the federal. Clearly we are on track to win back the House, and we are getting traction in various Senate races as well. Nevertheless, if we don’t fight and defeat the Democrat’s Shadow Party in down ballot elections we will lose everything in 2012.

This Shadow Party is a murky cabal of Democrat off shoot organizations running under the radar where they have been for several years.

Among the most dangerous of these is America Votes a ground level get-out-vote operation claiming to have 20 million lackeys in every state around the country. These people will be working to see that Democrats hold the Congress and every state legislature. They are tough dedicated and NOT the Democrats who are saying they have no enthusiasm to vote. This bunch has high enthusiasm and will be out knocking at doors and fighting for every vote from now until November 2.
Let this list of the organizations involved in this plot tell you what kind of people they are:
American Association for Justice; ACORN, EMILY’s List; League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC); MoveOn.org; NAACP; NARAL; Planned Parenthood; Progressive Majority; SEIU; and The Sierra Club.
These comrades will be trying to convince average freeloader Democrats not to stop pulling the Democrat lever after the federal office lines, but to keep going all the way down the ballot.

What winning at the state level means

Former Texas Democrat Congressman Martin Frost, a man who has firsthand knowledge of what happens when down ballot state level elections are lost, warns his readers not to overlook these local elections. He was kicked out of his seat when Texas successfully defended its mid decade redistricting plan and pushed him into a district which had voted 68% for George Bush in 2004.

State legislatures decide political district boundary lines and they never do so to the advantage of their opponents. Get out and fight. Make sure you tell all of your family and friends and all of those you meet: “Get out and vote conservative from top to bottom. Don’t stop pulling the GOP lever until you run out of lines.”

With big state legislature victories we can slam a stake into the heart of our Marxist rulers, but doing that needs your help.

In order to finance Obama’s Ponzi – like healthcare scheme, small businesses will be required to “issue” 1099s to vendors like Staples, Home Depot and Pet Smart if they purchase more than $600 in goods from these firms.
In other words if a dog walker in the upper West Side of Manhattan buys $610.00 worth of “doggie treats” to make her day a bit easier, SHE will have to issue Pet Smart a 1099 at the end of the calendar year.

It’s not all bad news….

While the choking tentacles of Obamacare are destroying the rest of America, a recent interpretation of the monstrous document shows its demands for an overwhelming amount of paperwork have the potential to bring the IRS to a grinding halt.

In 2012 Obama’s scheme will require businesses of all sizes, tax exempt organizations AND governmental agencies to file a 1009 when they purchase over $600.00 worth of goods from a vendor. In its best Big Brother-speak the scheme dictates, “If a self-employed individual makes numerous small purchases from an office supply store during a calendar year that total at least $600, the individual must issue a Form 1099 to the vendor and the IRS showing the exact amount of total purchases.”

This requirement will be especially “crippling” to small businesses according to The National Federation of Independent Businesses and will mean serious trouble for the IRS itself in the view of the Taxpayer Advocate (TA), an independent IRS sub agency designed to assist taxpayers.

IRS observers are saying the regulations will “trigger a paperwork avalanche at the IRS” which the Service is simply not equipped to handle. The head of the advocacy group said, “If the IRS continues to ramp up enforcement while reducing taxpayer service programs, I would be concerned about its ability to administer the new health care credits and penalty taxes in a fair and compassionate way.”

Half of the time it will be a good thing

A TA representative predicts these new rules “could exacerbate under assessment of penalties in some cases and over assessment of penalties in others. It is highly likely that the IRS will improperly assess penalties.”
While the intelligent solution to this impending disaster is of course to strike that regulation, if not the entire bill, we can bet the government will merely hire more IRS workers.

Obama: once again bitten by the law of unintended consequences

This 1099 requirement was most likely inserted by one of Obamacare’s many writers who have no experience in or understanding of business or how it works. It seems a good bet that the provision was designed to “punish” those would try under reporting their financial activities. Now these jerks in Washington have tied their tail’s in a knot and they are about to fall flat on their faces. This should be fun to watch.

Shameless puppets from four nonvoting American territories plus the District of Columbia have been used by Nancy Pelosi in a desperate move to kill an effort to stop Barack Obama from reissuing his moratorium on Gulf drilling and oil exploration.

On July 12 when the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Barack Obama could not place a moratorium on drilling for oil in America’s offshore fields we thought this would be the end of this particular attack. It did seemed like America had won.

In order to permanently end this threat to our economy, Republican Congressman Bill Cassidy of Louisiana’s 6th district offered an amendment that would prohibit Obama from reissuing his destructive moratorium.

Cassidy’s amendment was offered and defeated last week during a meeting of the House Natural Resources Committee. The vote tally went against America although it carried 22 to 21 among elected Representatives! “How could this be?” you ask.

It’s who counts the votes…

The Democrats followed their hero Joseph Stalin’s way of “handling” elections. He said, “The people who cast the votes don’t decide an election, the people who count the votes do.”

Although Section two, clause one of the Constitution provides for voting members of the House of Representatives to be elected by the states they represent, the Constitution is always only an obstacle to be stepped around for Democrats. Since they are not elected Representatives, the people sent to Washing to by Puerto Rico, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, America Samoa and the Virgin Islands are Constitutionally barred from casting meaningful votes. Nevertheless Nancy Pelosi looks at this bunch as five more Democrat votes in the various Committees they are assigned to.

These “observers” were never supposed to be a factor in Congressional business, but when Democrats lost 12 seats in 1992 and could see what was coming in 1994 they gave the Observers a vote in Committees. Originally if their votes changed the outcome of a tally, there was to be a second vote without them.

This vote was a big win – win for Nancy Pelosi. By using the votes of this gang of freeloading clowns, she was able to offer “CYA” coverage to Nick Rahall (W.V.), Jim Costa (Calif.) and Dan Boren (Okla), all Democrats from energy producing districts, and “let” them vote “Yes.”. They can now claim they “worked” to defend their constituent’s jobs.

Those who can’t get angry about this and the fact that insignificant people from the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico have told us we can’t drill off our own shores, don’t have a patriotic bone their body.

Putting the Congress back on a Constitutional footing has to be done on day one in the new Congress.

A poll released by the Hispanic Federation and the League of United Latin American Citizens, (LULAC) says as much about the media’s willingness to join in the destruction of our country as it does about Hispanic attitudes toward border control.

By cleverly reversing the percentages from the survey, the LA Times (LAT) has presented a picture of Hispanic sentiments which misleads readers on a number of key questions.

While it is one thing to say 4 ounces of water in an eight ounce glass makes it half full, pointing to the short end of a 70/30 split as the important point is quite suspect and calls the writer’s motives into question.

The poll found 30% of Latinos saw racism and prejudice in the issues surrounding immigration matters, as the LAT reported, but this necessarily means 70% did not see the racism bogyman hiding behind every border patrol station.

LULAC found 40% of Hispanics would be “unforgiving” of politicians who didn’t fight to deliver changes in the immigration laws (read amnesty) yet the LAT merely omitted any mention of the 60% of Latinos who did not share this position.

Similarly an honest interpretation of the results LULAC found would have had the story assuring America that 70% of Latinos would still report victimization in even minor crimes and 80% intended to report any major crime against them.

An honest story about Hispanic immigration views would also have included additional supporting data from other polls of Hispanics to round out and balance the picture.
A survey done by the leftist Public Policy Polling (PPP) firm established that Latino support for Obama has dropped nine points since word of Arizona’s new get tough on illegal aliens law hit the airwaves.

Unfortunately this attempt to threaten Republicans into opening our borders and supporting amnesty to finish America off is what passes for “honest” reporting in today’s sick and dying America media. This piece was obviously written by a person who is clueless about the real dangers of amnesty and whose only aim was to help Marxist Democrats keep their strangle hold on our lives.

If we allow the Republicans to fold in fear of Hispanic voters, we’ll lose our country as surely as we’ll lose America to amnesty. We can’t let this happen without a fight.
Things will get worse before they get better, but we have to stand and fight..

Calling it “clearly an isolated incident” a Washington State SEIU mouthpiece had to admit that one of his thugs committed a breathtaking fraud by his submission of petition signatures supporting a ballot initiative to raise taxes on high earning taxpayers.

The spokesman went on to say the worker “may” have worked as a paid union organizer in the past, but failed to mention the measure is being financed by the corrupt union itself. It was not clear whether the “worker” was a “paid volunteer” (this is a term only found in Democrat speak as in their push for paid Americorps volunteers) or just another union thug being paid by an extorted employer for doing union bidding.

“Apparent fraud”

After examining the twenty pages of petition sheets containing 349 names of “registered voters” who “signed” in support of I -1098 a new tax on the so called rich, Washington State election officials declared 89.1% of them to be fraudulent.

The blatant union backed fraud prompted Washington’s Secretary of State to remark, “This is the worst case of attempted signature fraud we have seen in modern times.. it does represent an attack on the process, which relies greatly on the integrity of the people who circulate the petitions. For that reason, we are bringing the full force of the law to bear.”

I -1098 is being supported by the addled Bill Gates who is still smarting from the cuffing around he took in 1998 from Congressional Democrats accusing him of antitrust violations for being a successful entrepreneur. Gates a big Democrat contributor ever since is trying to force others to help soothe his own feelings of guilt for having ever crossed the socialist Democrats by failing to donate to them.. Since his time on the Democrat hot seat, political donations made by Gates have gone two to one Democrat.

The overarching message of this collaboration between the ultra rich and the extortionist unions is clear. As skilled criminal operations Unions/Democrats know how to make the rich feel guilty and they certainly know how to help them soothe their “troubled” financial souls

The very rich are not our friends. They are for the most part people who have let the socialist Democrats and union thugs manipulate them into believing they must apologize and atone for being successful. They are part of our problem.

When Barack Obama said right before he was elected that the U.S. was days away from fundamental change, he meant changing our Capitalist system’s basis for growth from individual achievement to a collective salvation based on redistribution of our wealth. And clearly, his executive power has achieved this control in just about every legislative agenda he has initiated.

Glenn Beck’s analysis of the driving philosophy behind Obama’s governance by far left ideology to pervert our country’s founding principles is very revealing. Beck said the Liberation Theology theory of social justice instead of natural law is a “perversion of God (and is) dangerous.” Anthony Bradley, a Beck guest, says this ideology of seeking to liberate the oppressed has infused the United States to its core, especially in its transforming young minds in our country’s public school system.

James Cone, a founder of Black Liberation Theology, “refuses to accept (a) God who does not belong to the black community.” Cone said, “Whites must give back what they took. . .give back your job or your money.” Author Bradley said this in reality is an effort “to punish the oppressor;” to grab power.

Identifying what to control, linking the methods to Marxism, and then creating victims according to Beck are the Obama crowd’s modus operandi for completely changing America’s thrust of individual achievement and personal responsibility into a country of social justice built on a perversion of Christianity. BLT centers on the notion of collective salvation in direct conflict with the teachings of Jesus and individual salvation says Beck.

Incumbent upon the Progressives’ takeover of the United States is their use of victimhood to exploit and foment minorities and to divide us along racial lines. By basing their actions on the teachings of failed Communism and Marxism, Beck says they are turning their power toward “anyone exploited by Capitalists.”

Liberation theology gained strength in the l960s in Latin America when Hispanics were used as pawns between warring groups in the Central American power struggles. Beck referred to then Cardinal Ratzinger, now the Pope, who warned of the “fundamental threat to the Faith of the Church.” Struggling first hand in eastern Europe under the evils of Hitler’s march against the Catholic Church made our current Pope especially cognizant of such use of victimhood to establish power in the hands of a powerful dictator.

Obama’s refusal to admit he didn’t hear what Rev. Jeremiah Wright was saying for all of those 20 years was cleverly glossed over by our complicit media before his election.

Because of their failure to properly investigate and expose Barack Obama for what he is, we are now in the fight of our lives to save the very foundation of America.

Suck in that gut and start working off that muffin top midriff!

The nervy Marxists who run our lives have given themselves the power to decide who is and who is not too fat to receive government healthcare benefits. Under a new law signed by Obama our medical records will include our height and weight and our Body Mass Index (BMI) to determine if we are obese by government standards.

BMI will be part of our permanent electronic health record and will be available for inspection “with appropriate security measures–on a national exchange.” In other words a clerk (union member of course) who was hired because he or she was otherwise unemployable could look at our private medical records and stamp “LARD ASS” on the folder jacket.

This change won’t happen right away. These things never do happen overnight. The plan aims to have all of this in place by 2014 in time for the Death Panels to use BMI to ration health care made scarce by Obama’s Socialized medicine scheme.

Cloaked in the official sounding name of “electronic health records” (EHRs) and hidden in the 2009 economic stimulus law, this plot requires health care providers to practice what these newspeak artists call “meaningful use” of electronic records.

In order words your doctor or any hospital or clinic, you go to, will be required to establish a BMI for you so it can be used in determining your future.

It takes one to know one

Under these regulations we could have someone like the corpulent current Surgeon General Regina Benjamin who seems to stuff a lot of woman into her fancy uniform, measuring our waist and lecturing us about those extra helpings of mashed potatoes.

Presumably with a straight face, General Benjamin explained the need for such paternalism by saying “BMI provides a reliable indicator of body fatness for most people and is used to screen for weight categories that may lead to health problems.”

Since the Center for Disease Control (CDC) describes Americans as “obesogenic” a term that blames American life styles as the root of obesity, the federal government will share our measurements with state agencies as well.

It makes you want to scream

When you consider that fact remember 9-11 happened in part because the Clinton Administration insisted that federal and local police agencies not be allowed to share information about national security.

The liars in Washington are scrambling to figure out how to spin perhaps the worst news yet for millions of Americans: These socialist thugs have actually finally killed Social Security and Medicare.

Each year sometime in March or April the Social Security and Medicare Trustees are supposed to release a report on the fiscal health of Social Security and Medicare.
The reports are now five months late and not “currently scheduled” to be released until August when they will be six months late, if they are leased even then.
Based on the criminal MO of the gangsters running our government, this delay can only mean there is plenty of bad news being hidden from us.

Why would we conclude otherwise? The Managing Trustee of the Social Security/Medicare systems is Secretary of the Treasury, Timothy F. Geithner, an admitted tax cheat and an employer of non social security paying household staff.

The other members of this cabal are Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis whose husband is a tax cheat, Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of Health and Human Services, who is a tax cheat, and Michael J. Astrue, Commissioner of Social Security a George Bush appointee.

The reports which come from the Office of the Actuary of the Social Security Administration, are supposed to be used to plan the funding needs of Social Security and Medicare for the next seventy five years. You kind of get the feeling these crooks know Obamanomics have ruined these already shaky programs and there is no way they will last seventy five weeks, let alone seventy five years.

CBO report says it all

In its Long Term Budget Outlook, released earlier this month, the Congressional Budget Office reported that Social Security funds allocated to cover this calendar’s year’s payments are now exhausted. Although this startling event was not supposed to happen for another five year until 2015, neither that fact nor the news that total depletion of the trust fund will occur by 2037 have been given much attention by the Obama cheerleaders in the media.

Obama’s economic policies have eaten their way through the surpluses in Social Security built into the trust fund beginning with the Reagan Administration and now here we are unable to meet these responsibilities.

That Obama has damaged our Social Security/Medicare systems is no longer at issue. The only question is how deep the harm goes. This has to be the bad news this bunch of tax cheating gangsters is hiding.

Last Sunday Obama puppet master David Axlerod told FOX News host Chris Wallace, “No administration has been tougher on enforcement. We have more manpower there [on the southern border] than ever before- more equipment drones, helicopters, airplanes. We’re doing this in a smart, more efficient way and we’re producing better results.”

Wallace’s response “there were some facts and figures that contradict what..[you are saying]” was as far as the matter went. Had Wallace dug a bit deeper he would have found a recently issued memo from ICE Assistant Secretary John Morton describing how illegal aliens are to be treated.

The memo sent to the National Association of Chiefs of Police, directed them to order police officers under their command to stop arresting illegal aliens and instead deem illegals “immune” from detention.

In part, the memo said local police, “should not expend detention resources on aliens who are known to be suffering from serious physical or mental illness, or who are disabled, elderly, pregnant, or nursing, or demonstrate that they are primary caretakers of children or an infirm person, or whose detention is otherwise not in the public interest.”

The rationale for this approach is that ICE, a Homeland Security subunit, must prioritize the use of its “limited resources” meaning it is short on enforcement officers and detention beds. In clear language this says illegal aliens are “not subject to mandatory detention.”

96% of illegals will go free

The directive from ICE goes on to say its budget is so small it is only equipped to handle the deportation of “less than 4% of undocumented people” currently living here illegally.
Obviously nothing has changed in terms of the federal government’s insistence upon ignoring the millions of illegal aliens prowling our streets, stealing our jobs, flooding our schools and hospitals and threatening our lives.

Obama’s lawsuit against Arizona on the grounds it is unconstitutional is on its face an insult and proves the lie of, “No administration tougher on enforcement.” The Obama Administration is lying to us about the severity of our illegal alien problem every day. We have to beat them in November and begin to rid ourselves of them.

The wave is building. The end of the Pelosi/Reid Congress is coming. Election Day results will show us firmly in control of our Congress, but that will be only half of the job.
November will also bring state legislature elections and victories in this half of the equation can put conservatives in control of the redistricting process in most states.

When the Census reports the nation’s new population figures each state will be told how many Congressional Districts (CD) it will have and the business of carving out new boundary lines will begin. The importance of this process can’t be overstated because the lines are always drawn to favor the majority Party, and they remain in place for the following ten years.

Huge Republican advantage

This year there is an inordinate number of states now controlled by Democrats whose legislatures can and likely will flip to Republican hands.

With the exception of 1900 and 2002 the Party in the White House has lost seats in each mid-term election. Given this iron clad history and growing disapproval numbers for Obama and his Party, the GOP should run very strongly all the way down the ballots of most states.

Since Democrats hold 21(86%) state legislatures that are “toss ups” and Republicans hold just 4 state level “toss up” chambers, the GOP is poised to enter redistricting talks with a huge advantage.

What redistricting well can bring for Republicans

In Alabama Republicans can squeeze out another District.
Indiana’s Republicans can redraw boundaries to insure almost permanent control of six of its nine CDs.

In Pennsylvania there is an opportunity to make another five seats unreachable to Democrats.

In solidly Republican Texas, which is projected to pick up 3 more seats just from population growth, there is a potential to see six new Republican Congressional Representatives sent to Washington from the Lone Star State.

In Wisconsin where the Republican gubernatorial candidate is leading by 8 points and Democrat Senator Russ Feingold is just one point up, both the state Senate and Assembly are “toss ups.” Should lightening strike Wisconsin can produce two new GOP seats.

All of these scenarios are extra to the huge number of Congressional seats Republicans will regain on Election night, but holding these new seats can be made far more likely by victories in state legislatures.

We need to work hard at the state level to realize these huge dividends. If you can’t work in a congressional race in your area, work for your local Assembly or Senate Representative. It will be very rewarding service to the future of our country.
