Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius’ addition to Barack Obama’s Administration as his Health and Human Services Secretary cinches it.

The Pro-death Democrats will be running our health care system without any checks on their power. They will use their power and position to do away with old people and infants whom they see as drains on “the collective.”

Marxists/socialists always have to kill off people to give the illusion their Ponzi scheme works. The Soviet Communists did this in the 1930s. Pol Pot did this in the 1970s and now we will see Barack Obama doing the same thing. Bank on it.

Obama’s “healthcare plan” will eventually include classifying the old and sick among us as either a “meaningful user” or not. That will lead to government rationed medical care at the hands of pro death thugs like Sebelius who will deem the weakest and most frail Americans us “unworthy” of treatment. You and your doctor will have no say in whether you get cut off from life saving treatments because getting a smaller population is Obama’s plan.

That will “trim the herd” from the top; Sebelius’ job will be to kill us off from the bottom with government funded abortions.

She is the national champion of abortions.

She was elected with huge financial backing from the evil late term abortionist George Tiller. She hosted a party for Tiller and was photographed beaming at him.

Her slobbering support for abortion has moved Roman Catholic Bishop Joseph Naumann to order her not to present herself for Communion.This is a very rare order.

Planned Parenthood held a birthday party for Sebelius where the CEO of a late term abortion mill led a Conga dance in her honor. He was later charged with more than 100 counts of criminally committing late-term abortions.

She is the perfect instrument for Obama’s plan to promote death. As a “Catholic” she will sway the 52% of Catholics, who voted for Dear Leader, to remain loyal to Comrade Obama even as their parents and grandchildren disappear. How much more Obama can our country survive?

The underhanded Obama administration has quietly moved to rescind the “conscience clause” found in agreements between the federal government and Catholic hospitals.

This “conscience clause” has always protected practitioners from being forced to commit abortions in violation of their consciences. Its removal means Catholic hospitals will be forced to choose between federal funds for committing abortions and closing down to maintain a clear conscience.

Nevertheless, phony “Catholic” judas goats like Douglas Kmiec are still beating their chests with pride at having delivered 52% of the Catholic vote to the abortion team last fall.

In January Kmiec smugly wrote “The scurrilous remarks of conservative bloggers missed the point, which was that I and millions of others who voted for Obama did so not despite our Catholic faith but because of it.”

As a proud “conservative blogger” I have to ask this vile man how voting for a monster who could allow miracle abortion surviving infants to die unattended on a cold steel table in a broom closet is Catholic faith.

Reminding us why print media is dying, two weeks ago Time’s Amy Sullivan instructed us “confused Catholics”, that FOCA does not even exist. Insisting it will not be considered, she gently explains FOCA is merely a myth imagined by our Bishops which will not be voted on in Congress so it can’t threaten the sanctity of life.

Perhaps Sullivan could discern a comforting difference between being sent to a “work camp” rather than a “concentration camp” but her logic escapes me. The truth may be Obama doesn’t sign anything named FOCA, but whether it’s called FOCA or the Sunshine and Applesauce law, he’ll sign a law extorting Catholic hospitals into committing abortions thereby killing Catholic hospitals.

Obama’s sneaky order proves both of these phonies wrong.

In many ways this is the clarion call we have been waiting for. It sweeps aside the self delusions of many liberals who could not believe Barack Obama is the Marxist we have been saying he is right along. Making this announcement when he did shows he is a coward and doesn’t have the stomach for the fight we have to give him over this and many other issues. The battle is joined. Pick a side. Will you sit and watch or take action?

George Bush has often disappointed us, but on Inauguration Day he’ll give pro lifers reason to smile.
Pro death liberal Gays are running around screaming over a parting shot at them taken by the outgoing president. The administration has enacted an executive order that shields pro lifers from being forced to participate in abortions or fertility procedures on lesbians against their consciences. That’s the good news. The better news is the order takes effect on January 20, 2009 just in time to welcome America’s most pro death president.
The Gay Community is in an uproar over this move. They are crying hysterically about the possibility of even janitors in Catholic hospitals refusing to sweep up their areas because the hospital does abortions or inseminates a lesbian. They think that would be terrible. Boo Hoo!
This order combined with Obama picking Rick Warren to officiate at his Inauguration will force Gays to put enormous pressure on him to immediately reverse this order. I hope he does. The quicker America sees the real Barack Obama the quicker we can start building the necessary coalition to defeat his agenda. An immediate reversal ought to do the trick.
Because they are amoral liberals who believe the only motivator to human behavior is money, liberal Gays will pressure their pro death buddies in the Democrat Party to pull federal funding from “offending” hospitals.
This will raise the stakes in the coming fight over the cynically named Freedom of Conscience Act (FOCA). In the Democrat’s bizzaro world, “freedom of conscience” means having no freedom of conscience because FOCA would force health providers to do abortions, even in religious hospitals. The FOCA war will start immediately, and the sooner the better. In November we lost by 7%. Can we change the minds of 4%? “Yes we can!”
The politically active gays believe Obama will reverse Bush’s order. They look forward to a victory over their enemies in the Catholic Church and the Family Research Council. They cry that Bush’s order will cost at least 44 million dollars, as if they are really concerned about the cost of government. Those who confidently predict that there will be no big showdown over the Freedom of Conscience Act (FOCA) ought to think again.
The Gay/Pro death forces are angry and disappointed with Barack Obama’s conduct so far. Asking Rick Warren to give the invocation at his Inauguration ceremonies has been more of a problem for Obama than anyone could have foreseen. Gay marriage supporters from California to New York are turning the heat up, not calming down. FOCA will not be an easy issue for Obama and with the myriad of other problems he faces, he might just “punt” and put its reversal on the shelf for a year or so. After all, the Gay/pro death crowd has no place else to go and both Obama and they know it.

In April of 2007 the Democrats induced the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA). This bill is exactly the kind of over-reach Pro Lifers predicted would come about. FOCA would compel all hospitals accepting public funds to provide abortion and birth control services to their patients or lose funding. There would be no exceptions for religious based hospitals. It says “Abort or close.” The nation’s Catholic Bishops are studying the close option. Moreover, FOCA would be retroactive. FOCA clearly tells Pro Lifers to shut up and start cutting.

Trouble for Catholic politicians

FOCA is coming back in January. When Catholic Democrats pass FOCA, it will bring about a crisis in the American Roman Catholic Church and American politics as well.

Cannon Law forbids “formal cooperation” with an evil such as abortion. By their vote, Catholic politicians will place themselves outside of the Church and into a state under which they could no longer receive Holy Communion.

This is the train wreck Barack Obama’s Democrats have been trying to avoid by their admittedly centrist appointments thus far. This issue will make one side a winner and one side a loser. The bishops can not back down. The fact that Catholics broke ranks and voted for Obama makes it more, not less, likely that the bishops will excommunicate violators and close Catholic hospitals rather than be forced to provide abortions.

Obama has promised to sign FOCA. The drunk with power Democrats will introduce it. It will be a major turning point in sobering up Catholics and other Pro Lifers who drank Obama’s Kool aid. That rank and file Catholics will be pulled into this fight is also inevitable. The moment this bill hits the floor, any “honeymoon” of good feeling will end and the real fighting will begin. I say bring it on.

Those who think the Roman Catholic Bishops are bluffing are wrong and are in for a big surprise. When secularists bring suit against the Bishops to try to force them to do abortions they ought to keep a recent statement by Bishop Robert Hermann of St. Louis. He said “… any of us [ Catholic Bishops] would consider it a privilege to die tomorrow – to die tomorrow – to bring about an end to abortion.”
