A November 28, 2008 Collins Report prediction seems to becoming true. That essay read: “The Russians have started the push that might come to shove and the heat has been turned up on Barack Obama. Because of the sagging price of oil, the Russians have to do something or watch their country slip into anarchy. They need a crisis to move oil prices back up and Cuba is a very handy place to foment one. They are probing Obama for weakness…. but [The Russian’s] real targets were Venezuela and Guantanamo Cuba.
“[Russian President] Medvedev talked with America hater Hugo Chavez, basically as a pot stirrer, … Cuba was his main concern.
“The Castro brothers are sitting on a piece of land that the Russians, now more than ever, find very interesting.”
As per www.breitbart.com the Russian Air Force is talking to both Cuba and Venezuela about placing Russian long range bombers in airfields within their borders.

Production cut talk didn’t work

To stay healthy, the Russian economy needs $70.00 plus oil. On March 12 the Russian Oil Ministry floated a rumor it would cut production. The move worked well enough to push crude oil’s price up 11%.

Nevertheless, the market immediately shrugged off Russia’s bluster and oil started falling again March 13.
Since talking obviously didn’t work, Russia has moved to a “Cold War” style escalation of tensions. Talking about putting bombers ninety miles from Miami is their next turn of the screw. If this fails to move the world to crisis mode and thus ramp up prices, they will station their planes in Cuba. This Report predicted that when Obama hands Guantanamo to Castro he will sell it to the Russians. Everything points toward this happening and Obama’s is too naïve to recognize it.

With Leon Panetta, a man whose daughter is an open Marxist sympathizer, running the CIA we are in real danger because of this bunch. The KGB runs Russia now and they will eat Obama for breakfast. They will take advantage of every opening Obama’s weakness gives them. So far Obama has tried to present himself as a new John J. Kennedy. This will give the faker from Chicago his own “Cuban Missile Crisis.” This time the Russians won’t back down.

Since our dimwitted president isn’t half as bright as his smile, some things need to be explained to him.

Twice last November this page warned Barack Obama he would make a serious mistake by joining the “Blame America first” crowd closing Guantanamo.

A November 18 essay warned that sagging oil prices would cause Russia to pull a stunt to heighten world tensions and drive the price back up. Given the worldwide recession Russia’s manufactured “crisis” with Georgia went largely unnoticed; like the tree falling in the desert. As this page noted Fidel Castro wants to meet with Obama on “neutral territory” signaling the nervy little slug denies Guantanamo is sovereign American territory.

As predicted, to the delight of the Russians, useful idiots in America’s Leftist media have pressured Obama into closing Guantanamo.

A November 28, Collins Report predicted the closing of Guantanamo Bay would occur and lead to Castro demanding its return to Cuba:

“When Obama closes Gitmo he will pull a Jimmy Carter and hand it back to the people of Cuba as a goodwill gesture to make up for the misuse of their territory. Castro will be very happy to then sell the base to the Russians who will have a nuclear missile launching pad 110 miles from Miami. Obama is spineless and will lose this new “Cuban Missile Crisis” putting us all in grave danger.”

These predictions have been realized. People demanding economic improvements have started marching in Russia’s streets. Without oil money Russia will collapse.

On January 29 Reuters reported Castro demanded Obama return Guantanamo to Cuba “without conditions.”

Next Castro sells Russia Guantanamo which she uses to foment a crisis and skyrocket oil prices. The very foolish Barack Obama’s poor judgment has started a chain reaction that will endanger Americans for generations to come.

Recognizing none of the “steel” in Obama’s spine Joe Biden says he sees, Castro the legendry tyrant, had the gall to cite “principles of international law” and a lack of respect for Cuba to justify the immediate return of the American Naval base now housing the worst terrorists in the world.

Like Ahmadinejad, Castro knows Obama does not have the guts to stand up for America. Regardless of the media’s shameless attempts to portray him as a cross between Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Roosevelt, Obama is more of a cross between Bella Abzug and Gus Hall and that’s the truth. Obama would be laughable if our safety wasn’t in his hands.
