Obama’s numbers falling as fast as unemployment is climbing: media predicting 14%

By Kevin “Coach” Collins

“You can’t fool all of the people all of the time” was never truer.

With today’s Rasmussen index showing Obama at -5 he’s been below zero since last Thursday. EVEN CNN is saying Obama’s support has slipped 10 points since its last survey. This clown’s mask is melting away. Even his half witted voters are beginning to “get it” as they sit home unemployed because they believed in “change.”

Even the lap dog media is waking up.

“The Atlantic,” (TA) no friend of conservatism, has posted a sobering argument that unemployment will hit a Great Depression like 14%.

TA argues the “stimulus” package rammed through in January did exactly nothing to curb unemployment. It brought us only climbing unemployment and greater debt.

Private business investment (PBI) is shrinking. Without PBI, jobs can’t be created in the private sector where new employment has to come from. This factor alone will soon bring us 14% unemployment, but that’s not the end of our Obama caused miseries.

The declining PBI is getting “help” in our destruction.

The big bomb is the hidden “under employment” throughout the private sector. Cautious employers are being caught between hoping things will improve and the realities of inevitably decreasing their work force.

Besides making some layoffs, employers are cutting hours and using part timers. These moves obscure our real unemployment situation. When employers can’t keep juggling workers the house will fall down.
TA concludes the unemployment number might already be 16.5% when the elusive “gave up looking” unemployed workers are factored in.

One thing is certain, we will see 10% unemployment next month or in September. There is nothing on the horizon that can change what will happen. The question will be: What will Americans do about it?

Cleaning house in the Congress looks like a likely beginning.

Bob Dylan the Left’s poet laureate of the 1960s wrote the line “You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind is blowing.”
Abe Lincoln said reminded us “You can’t fool all of the people all of the time.”

We are at a point is American history where these two statements have crossed.
We don’t need the Department of Labor’s statistics to tell us the “jobs creation winds” are blowing against us. Our common sense tells us their figures showing just 9.5% national unemployment have been manipulated on orders from their Commissar. Obama is desperately trying to keep Americans strapped into their chairs so he can feed us enough nonsense that we’ll accept whatever he says as his drooling half wits did last November. Fortunately for us, Americans are coming to disbelieve the “weatherman.”
Get informed and fight back. If you plan on sitting and watching while they run your life, plan on watching a horror movie.

Are new unemployment numbers King Obama’s home cooking? Take a look; you decide

Kevin “Coach” Collins

Unemployment is 9.5%? I just don’t believe it.

While the unemployment rate for June was “only” 9.5% and up “only” .1, this number sounds fishy. Are they cooked?

Here’s the numbers, see what you think.

An additional 467,000 American jobs were lost, 104,000 more than the “experts” predicted.

When those who have given up looking are added (a media favorite statistic when Bush was president) the REAL number is a staggering 16.5%!

At least 14,700,000 are unemployed.

The average work week fell to 33 hours, the lowest in FORTY FIVE YEARS, meaning huge numbers of workers are UNDER EMPLOYED another statistic from the Bush years.

We never heard of “under employed” until the Bush tax cuts started adding more jobs than Democrat controlled media could ignore.

Consider these job losses by industry.

Professions and business services 118,000.

Construction: 79,000 near DOUBLING May’s losses.

Retailers: 21,000 jobs AND 17,600 in May.

Financial services lost 27,000 ON TOP OF 30,000 in May.

Even the government CUT 52,000 up from 42,000 in May.

In both May AND June the Leisure industry lost 18,000.

Professional and business services slashed 118,000 jobs, MORE THAN DOUBLE the 48,000 lost in May.

One of the few industries adding jobs: education and health services, which added 34,000 positions last month and 47,000 in May.

Losses by group

Adult men rate is 10.0%.

Adult women rate is 7.6%.

Teenage unemployment is 24%.

Black unemployment is 14.7%, a .2% IMPROVEMENT

Hispanic unemployment is 12.2 a .5% IMPROVEMENT

Apparently all of the 81,000 new education jobs (do you believe education is ADDING jobs? School systems are laying-off all over) and health services jobs MUST have gone to Blacks and Hispanics.

When Bush was president snarky Leftists called any new jobs “hamburger flippers.” Let’s just call these new jobs “bedpan flippers” because they most likely are. This number doesn’t reflect a growth in the economy but a growth in hospital union membership.

A bubble waiting to explode

The longer the media waits to start telling the truth the worse it will be for them when the truth comes out. The truth is coming out already and people are beginning to ask questions. The media lied last year when they convinced the 52% drooling halfwit crowd we were in the worst economy since the Great Depression.

Americans are beginning to get the facts and they don’t like what they see.

Now that things are twice as bad the lap dog media won’t be able to keep this lie up. The truth will crash into the Lefts web of lies with a swift a terrible thud.

Write or phone your Representative. Demand the truth or we’ll never get the truth.

Keep asking questions: keep demanding answers or we’ll never get any.
Get educated and get involved. If you are planning to sit and watch the events that control your life, plan on sitting and watching the Democrats destroying America.

May numbers bring delicious Shadenfraud: “Hey dopes, how’s the hope and change thing now?”

By Kevin “Coach” Collins

This will put a “shadenfraud” eating grin on your face.

We watched Obama’s core supporters became glassy eyed zombies as he spoke then gleefully vote to support their Messiah.
We watched Blacks, White Females, Hispanics and teenagers become near orgasmic on Election Night at the news of their Dear Leader’s victory.

Now they’ve got the Marxist government they demanded and we’re all suffering, but Obama’s fans are being hit hardest.

Ready to smile?

Friday’s Bureau of Labor Statistics report is full of bad news for the “hope and change” crowd.

Blacks, White females, Hispanics, and teenagers chanted “We want change!” They wanted change and they’re getting change, only it’s not the “change” they planned on.

The Blacks who voted purely on race aren’t getting the changes Barack promised them.

The naïve White females who voted for Obama because “white men are evil war mongers” certainly didn’t voted for what they are getting, nor did Hispanics who supported Obama as a soft touch on open borders.

Obama’s teenaged Clearasil Commandoes proved how “hip” and liberal they were by voting for Obama’s changes. Now it’s killing them.

Disappointment by the numbers

Comparing October 2008 unemployment levels with today’s numbers makes the case Obama screwed all of these Marxist zombies.
After seven months the unemployment rate for White women, which was 5.4%, has climbed sharply. Obama’s girls are suffering from 7.5% unemployment today.

In October 2008 the unemployment rate for Hispanics was 8.8%. Today 12.7% of Obama’s Latinos are sitting home unemployed.

In October 2008 the unemployment rate for teenagers was 20.7%. Today 22.7% of Obama’s Clearasil Commandoes are unemployed.

October 2008’s unemployment rate for Blacks was 11.3%. Today 14.9% of Obama’s “brothers and sisters” are unemployed.

Enjoy your “Shadenfraud” eating grin; these days there isn’t much else to smile about.

This column has consistently referred to today’s economic misery as Obama’s Recession. So far only a few other commentators have used this phrase. Nevertheless, with things getting worse each week, it is clear that by the end of August this mess will be firmly tied around Barack Obama’s neck where it belongs. Even some of the dopes in these groups whose greed exceeded their ability to reason, will come to the truth.

Obama is a total failure

This human wrecking ball is even being questioned by the comrades at the New York Times.

Nothing has worked. Nothing has reduced unemployment. Everything this Chicago fake has done has hurt us. Moreover the damage he has visited on us will keep hurting us for as far as the eye can see or the mind can imagine. The very thought of this guy having nationalized the auto industry makes the blood boil, but all indications say he is nowhere near finished doing his damage. Each of us has to act in ways big and small. Use your imagination, find your opportunity to fight back and get moving.

Citizenship is no longer a spectator event to be watched while others control our lives. Those who say “I never talk about politics” had better learn politics talks about you everyday of our lives.

Get informed and get active to save our country. Keep asking questions, keep demanding answers.

The numbers says it: Liberals’ feel good minimum wage hikes lead to higher unemployment

By Kevin “Coach” Collins

When a bill to raise the federal minimum wage is under consideration conservatives argue it will lead to unemployment especially among teenagers trying to enter the workforce for the first time. Liberals always scoffed at this and vote for these increases anyway.

Soon after the effective date of these increases teenage unemployment increases and stays higher than previous levels. Liberals say teen employment rates are not accurate measures of the results of these increases and the issue disappears from any mention in the media.

Teenage unemployment is a straw man non issue and liberals know this, but with today’s high unemployment the issue demands a reexamination.

Comparing unemployment numbers to state minimum wage levels shows a strong link between the two. The national unemployment rate is now at 8.5%, higher than it has been since 1983 at the peak of the damage done by Jimmy Carter.

Cause and effect

Is there a cause and effect relationship between higher minimum wage levels and higher over all unemployment in the states that mandate them?

It would seem so.

The 30 states reporting unemployment rates BELOW the national 8.5% have an average mandated minimum wage of $6.53. These same states have unemployment rates of 6.58% almost 2 points UNDER the national average.

The 21 states (plus D.C.) reporting MORE than 8.5 % unemployment, average 9.7%. They demand a $7.05 minimum wage of their employers.

Generous with our money

The 6 states demanding the highest average minimum wage of $9.25 also average 9.9% unemployment.

California has an unemployment rate of 11.2 and “generously” forces employers to pay at least $8.00 an hour.

Oregon is suffering 12.1% unemployment but prides itself on its $8.40 minimum wage.

The facts are clear: higher minimum wages bring higher unemployment, not always but often enough to identify solid connections.

Rethinking things

N.B. Oregon’s legislature is considering a bill to roll back its minimum wage law. Passed in 2002 when a Republican government was keeping inflation down and employment up, Oregon’s minimum wage was tied to the national level of inflation. That’s not working out so well under Obama’s Marxist regime. Oregon knows it has to bail out of this insanity before the roof falls in and the state is bankrupted. Oregon’s Legislature knows the inflation that is coming under Obama will be ruinous.
